We have a BABY!

This morning our little egg hatched to reveal a cute little butterscotch chick. Since this is our first hatchling, I wasn't sure what needed to be done. After posting on the BackyardChickens.com forums, I was told that other than providing freh water and chicken starter, the mother hen should do the rest. Welcome to the family little chick!

    It is really neat. Although I do think that the ones that the hens hatch are less friendly than the ones we got a day old chicks. What do you think?
