Cricket Creek Farm

As many of you know, I belong to a dairy CSA at Cricket Creek Farm and absolutely love it. Every week, we get fresh raw milk, butter, buttermilk and whey. They are a small grass-based dairy farm, producing raw milk, cheese, grass-fed beef, why-fed pork plus eggs from their small laying flock.

At the beginning of the month, they began they began a Kickstarter project to help them renovate their old barn and to help them install solar hot water.

I am excited to be a backer and hope this inspires others to not only back this project but to help other small farms succeed. If you are ever in the area, swing by their farm store, which is open daily. I highly recommend the Maggie's Round and so do the kids.
